FAQ

"What is PARA/TOMIK about?"
To make an extremely long story short, PARA/TOMIK follows the story of a mute man named Diego Rodriguez, who, unfortunately, was forced into becoming a spy for his own safety after discovering an unknown group is attempting to hunt him down. You can read PARA/TOMIK by accessing the "File Cabinet" in the top left panel.

"How do I customize my AgentCard?"
Double-click your profile photo in the top right corner.

"How was this coded?"
I usually start out by doing a rough code of the site since I've only been coding for a year and a half, so I usually break my own code. If I can't figure out how to code something I'll ask ChatGPT to help so I can learn how to fix it. I recoded my entire site over the summer because I realized it's unethical to entirely rely on ChatGPT to code, so now I'm learning and I use ChatGPT to help me 😅. Other than the help, it's all my doing (I struggle with JS...)

"What files can I upload and what sizes?"
You can upload PNGs, JPEGs, and GIFs. The file size can't exceed 5 MB.

"How does the page remember my settings?"
The webpage saves your settings locally, meaning your device saves this information. It's not saved online anywhere, so if you're on the site from a different device, it won't save your layout. You can clear your settings anytime by clearing your browser's cache.

"I found a bug, what do I do?"

"My music won't upload / isn't playing!"
It's an ongoing bug. For some reason, the site is extremely picky about what audios you choose to upload 😔, so it refuses to save your profile set up if you have an audio it doesn't like. However, if you're concerned about the audio not playing when the website loads, it's because web browsers (Firefox, Chrome, Safari, etc) don't allow automatic audio play from non-whitelisted sites like Youtube. For that reason, I made it to where you have to click somewhere for the audio to play.. and it's like that across the site. 😒
